This website is operated by Perspective Shift Marketing, LLC ("we," "us," "our"). This policy explains what personal information we collect through this site, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us. If you complete our booking inquiry form or email us, we collect what you provide, such as your name, email address, company or author name, and project details.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting and content delivery providers may automatically log technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed and date/time of access. We do not currently run advertising or analytics trackers on this site. If that changes, we will update this policy.
2. How we use information
- To respond to inquiries, prepare quotes and manage projects.
- To operate, secure and maintain the website.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our rights.
We do not use your information to send marketing emails unless you separately ask to receive them.
3. Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only with service providers that help us run the site and handle inquiries, and only as needed for those services:
- Tally (tally.so) processes booking form submissions. See Tally's privacy information.
- Google Fonts serves the typefaces used on this site, which means your browser requests files from Google and your IP address is visible to Google.
- Website hosting and content delivery providers serve the site's pages, images and audio files.
- Email provider (Gmail) handles our email correspondence.
We may also disclose information if required by law, subpoena or legal process, or to protect our rights, safety or property.
4. Third-party sites
This site links to services we do not control, including ACX, Audible, Goodreads, Linktree and social platforms. Their privacy practices are their own, and we encourage you to read their policies.
5. Cookies and "Do Not Track"
This site itself does not set advertising or analytics cookies. Embedded third-party tools such as the Tally form may set cookies or use similar technologies necessary to function. Because there is no uniform standard for browser "Do Not Track" signals, our site does not respond to them; however, we do not track you across other websites for advertising.
6. Retention and security
We keep inquiry information for as long as needed to respond and manage any resulting project, and as required for business, tax or legal purposes. We use reasonable safeguards, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
7. California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, you may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended, including the right to know what personal information we collect, use and disclose; to request deletion or correction of your personal information; and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law. To make a request, email us at the address below. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
Under California's "Shine the Light" law (Civil Code § 1798.83), California residents may ask for information about disclosures of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We do not make such disclosures.
8. Children
This site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Effective date" above shows when it was last revised.
